Hyundai Motor has launched a special special edition of its best-selling sub-compact car Hyundai Creta in the Indian market, which the company calls the Adventure Edition. Along with this, the company has also launched Hyundai Alcazar with the same edition. This is the first ever edition for the Hyundai Alcazar. The company increased the prices by a few rupees.

Hyundai creta adventure edition variants and prices

The Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition is offered in two variants, while the premium 7 seater Hyundai Alcazar is offered with three variants.

The Creta Adventure Edition SX manual variant is priced at Rs 15.17 Lakh ex-showroom, while the other variant is priced at Rs 17.98 Lakh ex-showroom. Both the special editions cost Rs 36,000 more than the normal price.

Design

Both the vehicles get the Ranger Khaki color option of the recently launched Exter in the special edition, with both the SUVs receiving similar cosmetic updates as well. Blacked out grille, black alloy wheels with red calipers, black ORVMs, black door cladding, Adventure Edition badging on the front fenders, black roof rails and black skid plates.

The Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition is offered with 17-inch alloy wheels while the Alcazar gets 18-inch alloy wheels.

Engine Specification

There has been no tinkering with the engine options under the bonnet. Both the SUVs are powered with their current engine options. However, the special edition Creta comes only with petrol while the Alcazar is offered with both petrol and diesel engines.

The Creta Adventure Edition is available with 1.5L petrol, while the Alcazar Adventure Edition is also available with 1.5L turbo petrol and diesel engines. There has been no change in the gearbox options.
